What an honor to stand alongside Dennis Price, Founder & CEO of Heroes For Humanity (H4H) Heroes for Humanity —a decorated Marine Force Recon veteran turned global humanitarian. When I say purpose met purpose, I mean it.

We crossed paths through a high-level, invitation-only leadership network that connects doers, not just dreamers. Being in that room? Already a blessing. But the real magic happened in conversation.

I had the privilege of sharing my life’s mission—pre-planning with purpose—a movement that encourages families and communities to be proactive vs. reactive when it comes to end-of-life planning. The weight of death shouldn’t be the final burden we pass on. It was powerful to speak life into that space with someone who literally saves lives.

But it didn’t stop there. I also shared the heartbeat behind my nonprofit, the Doing Far More Foundation—a space where legacies are built, giving back is meaningful, and awareness is raised, especially around issues like triple-negative breast cancer, menopause wellness, and entrepreneurship for those often overlooked.

Dennis’s work through H4H—rescuing trafficked children, providing disaster relief, and reuniting families—is world-shifting. My work through DFM is heart-shifting. And together? That’s purpose in action. 💪🏽🧡

🎀 THROWBACK THURSDAY: SHE ATE & LEFT NO HAIRS BEHIND .....

Cancer came for my life… and my hair too.
Diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in November 2022 — by January 2023, my hair had left the chat. Hair that once ran down my back started leaving trails everywhere I went. It was traumatizing. As a woman, as a survivor, as ME — that loss felt personal.

But guess what?

It started growing back in February 2024… and baby, she's back, better, and blonde as ever!!

This video? It's a raw glimpse into the reality of what many of us go through but rarely talk about. I shed those strands… but never my strength. 💪🏽💕

So to every Queen on her chemo journey — you are still YOU. Bold. Beautiful. Bald or not. You are not your hair… but when it grows back? Let it be your crown.

Being an Ambassador for the 1st Annual Women's Wellness Revolution Menopause Conference was more than a title — it was a transformational experience.

I, Mrs. Donna Marshall-Payne proudly represented as a survivor, advocate, and voice for so many women navigating the complex journey of menopause — especially those who, like me, have also battled triple negative breast cancer.

While the conversations were powerful — including insights from a doctor who spoke on breast cancer — I noticed something missing: no mention of triple negative breast cancer, a form that disproportionately affects Black women and carries unique risks during menopause.

I’m committed to using my voice to amplify that truth. The journey doesn’t stop at survival — it continues through education, awareness, and legacy-building.

We were able to bless several students through their Dyad InternationalTravel Luggage program..
Presenting luggage, hand sanitizers, wipes, etc. to each student on their well-deserved scholarly accomplishments made my heart feel AMAZING!!

The kids were extremely grateful, and some even shared tears. The hugs and love shown were priceless. These are future engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, veterinarians, athletes & more.

On January 27, 2023, I just let it all go!!!

I let go of the fear of dying...
I let go of the fear of walking with Cancer...
I let go of the fear of losing my hair...
I let go of it allllll!!

I am forever grateful for my husband, barber, and best friend. He continuously reminded me of how beautiful I am inside and out.

We were the hottest "Coneheads" around. We kept laughing, traveling, and living life to the fullest and still do!!

Day 43
UPDATE FOR DEORNELL MARSHALL JR

He is:
7 days out of ICU....8 procedures/sugeries, severe brain bleeding, life support for weeks on end....barely holding on to life.

CURRENTLY:
Walking and talking all on his own....BUT GOD

He is out of ICU by God's grace. He has an extremely long journey of healing ahead of him.

However, just know that GOD heals, strengthens, and restores.

That is my prayer for my brother....to be completely healed, restored, and made new.....in JESUS NAME, AMEN!!

By January 2023, my hair began to fall out due to chemotherapy. I would be walking and leaving trails of hair along the way. As a woman of color, losing my hair was more than devastating to me.😒

That was truly the beginning of my journey to FIGHT like hell to be healed and restored.

To anyone beginning their journey to get to the other side, be encouraged, keep a strong mindset, eat right, rest, and surround yourself with nothing but good energy and those that truly LOVE YOU.

March 3rd is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Day, a national day for raising awareness for Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC).

If you are like me, you probably thought all Breast cancers are the same. There are actually several different kinds, and until you have Breast cancer or know someone who has had it, you don't realize it.

What is Triple Negative Breast Cancer? A diagnosis of TNBC means that your tumors are estrogen receptor-negative, progesterone receptor-negative, and HER2-negative.

Of all the Breast cancers, TNBC accounts for about 15 to 20 percent of breast cancers.

TNBC is considered a rare and very aggressive Breast cancer. This is because the tumors are negative to the three most common receptors, TNBC can’t be treated with medicines that slow or stop cancer growth by targeting these receptors, and instead are treated with chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Without these targeted treatment options, TNBC patients have a higher risk of recurrence, especially in the first 5 years. TNBC can also metastasize other organs in the body like the liver, lungs, brain, bones, lymph nodes, and skin. When it does, it is a chronic disease with no cure.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer Day was started by the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation as a way to raise awareness and funding for triple-negative research. Progress is slow, but there have been new treatment options added recently, such as immunotherapy, that gives us hope. More research is needed to better understand the biology of triple-negative breast cancer.

I am ever so grateful for God's grace and mercy to allow me to still be here! I will continue to use my voice and experiences from my journey with hopes of encouraging someone else.

Cancer SUCKS however let it be known that there is LIFE after CANCER!!!

He is definitely not out of the woods by far. However, I receive each and every blessing of progress.

Day 8
3 Brain Angiograms later.....I find myself sitting daily with my brother praying for a miracle.

He is still on life support and remains unconscious.

My continued prayer is to bring my brother back fully restored.

Me and my family thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love, support & prayers.

I especially thank you for the grace given to me for updating all those that truly love him.

I'm doing my absolute best to keep it together for everyone but I have to set boundaries for my own peace and sanity. I pray for understanding through this difficult time.

Due to the fact that my brother is loved by so many, this platform touches the masses and keeps me from repeating the same things over and over. It also allows me to have prayer warriors from all over keep him uplifted.

My Husband, Son & TEAM are nothing short of amazing!!! I had knee replacement surgery several weeks prior to this event, and they would not allow me to fold.

I became Mrs. Clause, some of them became elves, others jumped in to help wherever they could, and we spread love to all on this day. Oh GOD, how I thank you!!!

This year, we were able to meet some outstanding families. My heart is still so full from it all. This year we were able to give away food, clothing, tvs, furniture, books, computers & MORE!

3 Families adopted
14 kids blessed

Our impact continues to grow each year. Through God's grace and mercy, 2025 will bring more collaborations and more resources to allow us to continue to Do Far More in communities all over!
